Mrs. Kelly Wheatley

As a parent of a child who currently attends Maidensbridge, I would like to give something back to the school community and feel privileged to recently be appointed as a co-opted governor. I look forward to supporting the school and hope that my skills and experience will add value to the governing body.

I am passionate about education and improving outcomes for our children. I currently manage a School Admissions and Appeals Service for a Local Authority and have extensive knowledge of the application process, school place planning and challenges, and I work closely with key services such as Attendance, Inclusion Support and Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Prior to this role, I qualified with a Masters Degree in Human Resource Management and spent a significant number of years supporting schools within a HR capacity for both Dudley and Wolverhampton Local Authorities. I have extensive experience of supporting Headteachers and Governors across a broad range of matters and welcome the opportunity to share my knowledge.
