Mrs. Kelly Wheatley
As a parent of a child who currently attends Maidensbridge, I welcome the opportunity to give something back to the school community and feel privileged to be appointed as a co-opted governor. I look forward to continuing to support the school and hope that my skills and experience add value to the governing body.
I am passionate about education and improving outcomes for our children. Having qualified with a Masters Degree in Human Resource Management, I spent a significant number of years supporting schools within a HR capacity for both Dudley and Wolverhampton Local Authorities and currently work as a HR Policy and Strategy Consultant. I have extensive experience of supporting Headteachers and Governors across a broad range of matters and welcome the opportunity to share my knowledge.
I have also previously managed a School Admissions and Appeals Service for a Local Authority and have extensive knowledge of the application process, school place planning and challenges, and have worked closely with key services such as Attendance, Inclusion Support and Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
